Various ages and various times: there is sure to be a group that suits you. Some groups have been running for years; others meet for a short time (for a series of Lenten studies, for instance) and then disband. Contact the ministry team for more information.

Carols Under the Stars

Each year Oxley Uniting Church hosts this exciting event for our local community. Starting at 5:00pm join in the fun activities on offer – the animal farm, jumping castle, face painting, balloon twisting, and giant bubble play will keep the kids entertained. Several food options will be available with a sausage sizzle and food vans offering snacks, meals, icecreams, drinks and coffee. As the sun goes down and the stars come out, join with the band in singing your favourite Christmas Carols. Held on the Oxley Primary School Oval, corner of Oxley Rd and Colwel St, Oxley, from 5:00pm.

Garden Lovers Club

Fourth Thursday of every month, at 9.30am at the Oxley church hall.

Operation Christmas Child

The congregation is heavily involved with this charity, run by Samaritan’s Purse, that provides shoeboxes of gifts and small useful items for disadvantaged children in south-east Asia and the south Pacific. Shoeboxes are collected and dedicated in October each year.

Prayer Meeting

A group meets weekly in the church to pray for situations in the church, the local community, and the world. All are welcome. Fridays 7:30 am. Held in the church downstairs.
