ministries

Oxley Uniting Church expresses its commitment to Christ not only through expressions of corporate worship, but through its ministry and outreach to its members and the wider community. The primary formal mechanism by which we minister to each other is through our CareCircles. We also have a number of special interest groups and activities, through which we offer fellowship and pastoral care. There are also a number of activities for youth and children of various ages, from social groups to bible studies.

Oxley Uniting Church also ministers through its involvement in a number of organisations and annual appeals, such as Operation Christmas Child, which provides supplies and gifts to impoverished children in South-East Asia and the Pacific, and by supporting the Chaplain at Corinda State High School and the Religious Education program at Oxley Primary. The congregation also provides prayerful and in-kind support for the Barnabas House initiative.

Our ministry team comprises a number of lay and ordained people responsible for the oversight of the church and its members.
