Bible Study & home groups

Various ages and various times: there is sure to be a group that suits you. Some groups have been running for years; others meet for a short time (for a series of Lenten studies, for instance) and then disband. Contact the ministry team for more information.

‘Bible-Gem-Seekers’ Home Fellowship Group

1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Steph Rankin’s.

Community Carols

Usually on the last Sunday before Christmas, an outdoor community event that combines musical acts and children’s entertainment with the singing of your favourite Christmas carols, accompanied by a full band. Held on the Oxley Primary School Oval, 22-26 Bannerman Street, from 5:30pm.

Crossroads

Fellowship and social activities for people living with disabilities. Second & fourth Wednesday evenings. 7.30pm at the Oxley church hall.

Fourth Thursday of every month, at 9.30am at the Oxley church hall.

Men of Oxley

Operation Christmas Child

The congregation is heavily involved with this charity, run by Samaritan’s Purse, that provides shoeboxes of gifts and small useful items for disadvantaged children in south-east Asia and the south Pacific. Shoeboxes are collected and dedicated in October each year.

Prayer Meeting

A small group meets weekly in the church to pray for situations in the church, the local community, and the world. All are welcome. Fridays 7:30 am. Held in the church upstairs in the Prayer Room. Brief reflection, prayer and Communion!

Social and Craft Group

First & third Monday of each month, 9.00am at the Oxley church hall.
